Capricorn Equestrian Center

As a school of horsemanship, Capricorn Equestrian Center programs are structured to teach the total concept of the horse. So in addition to riding, students are taught safety as well as how to groom, saddle and bridle a horse in order to help the student become proficient on the ground as well as in the saddle. Classroom instruction may be incorporated whenever it is necessary to achieve better understanding of a particular concept or riding style.

Capricorn offers group or private horseback riding lessons for beginning to advanced riders. If you are unsure about lessons, we offer Orientation Classes to introduce potential students to our program.

Group lessons are taught in five-week sessions. The 90-minute classes meet once a week for five weeks and allot 30 minutes for horse preparation and 1 hour riding instruction. The fee is $120 per five-week session.

Orientation
$45

Group Lessons $120 per session

Mini Day Camps $45 ($40 when paid in advance)

Private Lessons $45 to $60 per hour (depending on instructor requested)

Semi-Private Lessons $35 to $45 per hour (depending on instructor requested)

Refund Policy

Please note, Capricorn Equestrian Center does not provide full refunds. A processing fee will
be charged for any refunds - 15% for checks and 20% for credit cards. A copy of the canceled check/credit card charge must accompany refund requests. Refund requests must be received within 30 days of original transaction (i.e., date of check/credit card charge). Refunds are not available under certain circumstances and are at the discretion of Capricorn Equestrian Center.
